I want to tow a small trailer with my 2018 Grand Caravan. What parts do I need and where can I get it installed?

To tow with your 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan you need a trailer hitch, trailer wiring, and a ball mount kit. The trailer hitch that I recommend for your application is the etrailer.com # E98854. This features a 2" receiver and gives you the best ground clearance/bumper clearance which is beneficial if you end up using accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier.

If you plan on towing a smaller trailer without brakes, then I recommend using the Curt # C56331 which gives you a 4-Way connector for basic trailer light functions. For a trailer with brakes, you can add the # ETBC7 kit which gives you all of the wiring and connections needed for a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195.

Then for a ball mount kit I recommend the etrailer.com Kit # 989900. This comes with 2 ball mounts as well as a 1-7/8" hitch ball, 2" hitch ball, hitch pin and clips, and a storage bag. Please check out the linked ball mount article to make sure that the 3/4" rise/2" drop and 2-3/4" rise/4" drop of the ball mounts are correct for your towing application.

I have attached some sample installation videos for you (the Curt installation is the exact same as the etrailer trailer hitch) but you also need to consult your owner's manual for any specific towing instructions for your Grand Caravan.
