Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2012 Audi Q5

Im thinking about buying a luggage trailer for my wifes 2012 Audi Q5. If I install this wiring, will the rear brake lights/turn signals on the car continue to work? That is, does this ADD the lights on the trailer to the cars original lights, or does it REPLACE them?

It does not replace your vehicle tail lights and turn signals but rather adds the trailer lighting functions. This harness draws power from the battery directly to protect your vehicle electronics. This harness will not impact your vehicle in any way and will use zero contact interface sensors to capture the signal functions so it does not require splicing into your wiring at all.
Either wiring harness will work well for a luggage trailer.
