Installing New 7-Way Harness on 2014 Ram 2500
Question:
I replaced the 7 way plug, where does this plug into on truck. I am sure there is a bad wire in the harness going to the plug. The plug that comes with this does not look long enough to plug in. do you have a install video on this.

The Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket # HM40975-11933 referenced in your question is designed to plug into the OEM rectangular plug that should be located along the driver's side frame rail above the spare tire. For just the harness by itself you can use part # PK11933.
Unfortunately we do not yet have an installation video for this particular harness. If you cannot locate the OEM plug on your truck please let me know and I will be happy to look into this further. If you are looking under your truck and finding a round factory connector that the harness plugs into, you can use the Reese Multi-Plug Wiring Harness # 74682 instead. This plugs into a factory US round car connector to provide a new 7-Way.
