Parts Needed to Change Trailer Suspension from Underslung to Overslung
Question:
I recently built a large deck over flatbeb/ dump trailer out of an old tandom axel travel trailer chassis. I added in 2x6 tubing and remounted the equalizers, but there still is very little room between the top of the tires and the bottom of the deck on the trailer. Currently, the leafsprings and axels are under-slung. Can I change these to over-slung to give some more clearance? If so what part/ conversation kit do I need?

Yes! We have exactly what you need to move your axles so that they are under your leaf springs.
If you have 2-3/8" diameter axles use part # K71-384-00 or you can use part # K71-385-00 for 3" diameter axles. These will raise your trailer equivalent to the diameter of your axle plus the height of the leaf spring stack.
