Replacement 1-1/4 Inch Shank for Yakima Kingpin 4 Bike Rack
Question:
Got an old Yakima 4-bike rack, pretty much sure is a Kingpin -at least looks like comparing to online photos- bought around mid 2004. Currently has the 2inch shank, however got a new car where only 1.25inch receivers available. Was looking at buying the 1.25inch shank part Y8890203, however noticing listing specific Kingpin models and after 2004. Misplaced documentation hence cant confirm if Kingpin indeed, or specific model/year. Have tried to find model # on rack itself but not to avail. Based on attached pictures, is there any way to confirm if part Y8890203 could work? Or should I order a different part? Thanks,

I sent the photo you attached to Yakima and they were able to confirm that you do have the Yakima Kingpin which means the Replacement Tongue part # Y8890203 is correct and will work for you.
