What Do the Raised End Panel Edges Look Like When Installing a Trailer Hitch on a 2009 Volvo V70
Question:
for installing the 75916 trailer hitch on a 2009 V70 not XC, it says to use the bolts/spacers and washers if there are raised edges on rear bumper end panel. What would It look like if there were no raised edges? I having a little difficulty determining if the end panel has raised edges or not.

I have attached a photo for you which shows a vehicle WITH the raised edges on the end panel and a vehicle WITHOUT the raised edges on the end panel. This end panel is attached to the vehicle's body, not the rear bumper fascia. If you take a look at the attached review video on the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75916, at the 5:50 mark you can see a smooth end panel on a similar Volvo XC70 which is pretty much the same as your V70 when it comes to installing a trailer hitch.
