Recommended Sealant for Metal Roof on Atco Trailer

Question:

We want to seal the whole metal roof of an older Atco trailer. What would be the best sealant to use? We live on Vancouver Island in B.C. and experience lots of rain and heavy wet snow during the winter.

The LaSalle Bristol XTRM sealants are what I recommend using for sealing up the metal roof on your Atco trailer. For a white sealant you will want to use part # 34427034145-1 for horizontal applications and part # 344270341437-1 for vertical applications. For a beige we have part # 34427034146-1 for horizontal and part # 344270341438-1 for vertical. These can be used for a variety of applications and will do a fantastic job at resisting rain and snow.

The sealants above are great for sealing your roof but if you are trying to repair damaged roofing I highly recommend installing a LaSalle Bristol XTRM Roof Membrane like the 35' Long part # 3441700534142711435 and using the XTRM Roof Installation Kit # 3442703414KIT to complete the installation. The membrane kit has a PVC construction which makes it very durable, UV-resistant, and helps to reflect the sun and keep your trailer much cooler.
