What is the Correct Tekonsha Wiring Harness for a 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen

Im looking for a wiring harness for a 2015 VW Golf SportWagen and there seems to be some confusion. You are recommending a Tekonsha 118646 with the warning that it doesnt fit an R and other places including Tekonsha claim it wont fit a SportWagen. Another kit, Tekonsha 118730 Claims to fit a 2016 and newer SportWagen but not a 2015. 2015 is the first year of the Mk VII Golf and SportWagen and your site claims that this kit also fits the 2016 wagen whether TDI or gas. VW didnt import any 2016 TDIs due to the whole diesel scandal so Im wondering if the listing for 2016 is a misprint and maybe it should be a 2015. Ive tried writing VW to see if they changed the plug at the tail lights from 2015 to 2016 but they havent answered. Thanks in advance,

I took a look at the answer pages that you were referring to and you are correct that the T-One # 118646 was recommended. It is no longer a fit for the 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen and those questions were completed before a statement came from Tekonsha stating that it won't fit the 2015. I have sent an update for those answer pages to change, thank you for helping us out with that.

The T-One # 118730 that you mentioned is a fit for all models of the 2016 Volkswagen SportWagen and the customers in the questions were the ones referring to their vehicles as those models. Regardless of what they have this harness will fit.

For your 2015 the only fit that we have is the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT. This comes with quick connects and a module that connects directly to your battery for power and helps protect the wiring on your Volkswagen.
