Will the B&W Turnoverball Fit a Lowered 2018 Ford F-150

Question:

I just purchased a 2018 F150 Diesel Lariat with 6.5inch bed. I mainly drive on the highway, and need to fit into a parking garage so I would like to lower the truck 2inch 2inch front 4inch rear. Can I still put a gooseneck hitch onto the truck. I have a small excavator I would like to tow on occasion.

The gooseneck hitch I recommend for your 2018 Ford F-150 is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BW77FR. This hitch has a 30,000 lb towing capacity and is considered to be one of the best on the market. We have not yet had a chance to install this hitch on a lowered F-150 but I spoke with my contact at B&W and they informed me that as the hitch is placed forward of the rear axle, you should be okay with the lowering kit but there are several others factors at play such as the hitch weight, tire size, etc.

I cannot confirm with certainty that this hitch will work for you but according to my contact at B&W it should not be a problem depending on the above variables. Please note that the hitch ball would not be able to be stored in the downward position on a lowered vehicle.
