No Trailer Running Lights on a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

If all of the trailer lights are working except the running lights then there could be a few potential causes. For starters, I would check that the trailer running light fuse on your 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee to make sure it is intact. If this is not the problem then you will want to check the pins inside each trailer connector in addition to the wires leading into the back of them. The wires need to be tight without much play while pulling them and the pins need to be straight and free of corrosion. Once the trailer connectors have been checked you will then need to trace the running light wire(s) (usually brown) back from the trailer connector to each lighting assembly while checking for breaks. Once you reach the lighting assemblies you will want to check both the bulb and ground for each one.
