Wiring Needed to Install Brake Controller in 2010 Lincoln Navigator with 4-Way
Question:
Hi, I have a 2010 lincoln navigator, has standard tow package , four pin flat connector, there is a fifth wireblue taped with the other four wires unconnected labeled for trailer brake, inside the vehicle, under the drivers side dash there is a powered electric brake harness/port. what will I need to purchase to convert over to 7 pin flat pin round . I have brake controller from previous lincoln already installed and it is powered up when I connected it to the port.

What you'd need is the adapter part # 37185 to convert your 4-way to a 7-way. And since your brake controller is already mostly wired up you'd just need to extend the brake controller wire you found back to the blue wire of the # 37185 with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 and you'd be set.
