Replacement Landing Gear Legs for 1995 Jayco Designer Series 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 1995 Jayco Designer Series 3210RLR fifth Wheel camper that I am needing to purchase landing legs for. The gears have worn out and I have discovered the replacement gears are no longer available. The legs are bolt on and have the electric motor. What legs will work with this camper.

It looks like your 1995 Jayco Designer Series 5th Wheel Trailer was equipped with an Atwood landing gear system. Atwood was recently bought out so their products are getting harder and harder to find.

To replace both the legs on your system the Lippert # LC179013 Lead Leg and # LC179014 Follow Leg should work great. These feature standard weld stop measurements of 15-1/2 inches from inside to inside and 17-1/2 inches from outside to outside. You will just want to compare this to your existing brackets to make sure these will bolt right up without any modification. I have attached an image to clarify this.

I have attached a couple short video demonstrations that you can also check out.

To replace your landing gear you can use the set # RVLG-8HDL with the motor # LC142178 as long as your weld stops measure 15-1/2" inside ti inside. If you have a whole leveling system on your Jayco then I'm honestly not sure if there is anything out there that can be used as a replacement, but this should work just fine for the landing gear.
