Is a 2008 Fleetwood Bounder on Workhorse W22 Chassis Pre-Wired for a Brake Controller
Question:
Is there an under dash trailer brake connection in a 2008 Fleetwood Bounder W-22 workhorse chassis

I believe that there is wiring located up under the dash and to the left of the steering column on the 2008 Workhorse W22 chassis that is for a brake controller. Look for a bundle of wires held together with a white tag. The tag shows the functions of the wires. If that wire bundle is not present on your Bounder then the brake controller will have to be hardwired in.
You would need a 30 amp circuit breaker, # PK54530, wire # 10-2-1 sold by the foot, and some additional # 10-1-1 wire sold by the foot. This wire needs to be long enough to go from the brake controller all the way back to the 7-Way connector at the rear of the motorhome. I have included some links that will help. Not all of the information will apply though.
