Hitch Mount Bike Rack to Carry 2 Heavy Bikes on a Motorhome

Question:

I need a bike rack for the back of a motorhome. It needs to be able to hold two different size bikes weighing about 60 lbs each and it needs to tilt. Wouldn’t it be easiest to just get a motorbike carrier?

A motorcycle carrier probably isn't your best option because the chances of it tilting is less and also most motorcycle carriers are not rated to be used on the back of a motorhome. There's more stress placed on a carrier that used on a motorhome because of the distance between the carrier and the rear axle.

You said your bikes are two different sizes but didn't mention what size they are. The rack you looked at, the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR, can handle up to 80 pound bikes and it does tilt. The bikes can have up to a 60 inch wheel base with 5 inch wide tires. As long as you have a 2 inch receiver on the motorhome, this option should work well for you.
