Does the Draw-Tite # 76138 Come with Wiring to Tow a Trailer with a 2018 Mazda CX-5

do these hitchs come with light/electrical? How woulod you know what to get need hitch for Mazda 2018 CX5 and need to be able to have lights work on a trailer

Our trailer hitches like the Draw-Tite # 76138, which is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Mazda CX-5, do not come with electrical, but I can point you in the right direction for your Mazda.

I recommend going with the Tekonsha T-One # 118746 which plugs in behind your tail lights and the draws power from the battery on your CX-5 via the 12V power lead. This bypasses the wiring on your CX-5 so that any issues on your trailer to not trickle back to your tow vehicle.

You also need a ball mount and hitch ball to complete your towing setup. The Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2" Ball - 2" Drop # C45036 is a great option to use with the # 76138, but you will want to consult the attached ball mount article to determine if the 2" drop is what you need for your towing setup.

Please refer to your owner's manual for any specifics when it comes to towing with your 2018 Mazda CX-5.
