Front Mounted Hitch Distance From Hitch Pin Hole to Bumper on 2006 Ford F-150
Question:
I want to mount a bike rack in front on 2006 f150, the bike rack shank is @ least 7.5, what I dont know is how the receiver sticks out for clearance, I got ahold of drawtite tech and he said its only 2inch behind the bumper fascia which would be good. I just to confirm w/ you before I order it and find it wont fit and pay to ship it back. Thanks.

When we test fit the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch # 65043 on a 2006 Ford F-150 we did not take the measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the front of the bumper.
However, I did add a photo for you which shows the hitch installed on a '06 F-150 and based on this and what Draw-Tite said, you can be confident that it is 2 inches from the hitch pin hole to the edge of the front bumper, and a bike rack that has 7-1/2 inches of clearance will not have any problems working with this hitch on your truck.
