The installation instructions for Curt front mount receiver # 31352, see link, do not specify any vehicle modification for installation on your 2006 Lincoln Mark LT. But it is always possible that some trimming of an air dam or fascia may be needed on some models.
We also have Draw-Tite hitch # 65043 which should not require any modification. The receiver will sit below the front fascia. I have linked videos and instructions for both hitches for you.
