Would like to just take a moment To thank etrailer for getting our draw tight front mount hitch and our swagman bike rack to us. It certainly solved our problem. For sometime we have wanted to take bikes camping with us and have not had a proper place to haul them. The camper has a molded bumper and I certainly didn't want to haul them in the camper. So my hat off to you on both products
I purchased this about a year ago. Checkout and Shipping was quick and accurate. No issues at all with the product showing up in good condition with all the pieces. Was able to install by myself in about 10 minutes. I have traveled across country twice now with a double bike rack attached to this hitch. Nothing has shifted, moved, or loosened since the install and trust me i take my truck off road. Very Pleased.
Absolutely love this front hitch. I've had it for about a year now on my 2004 f150. Install was easy took about 30 minutes to install by myself using a hydraulic jack and basic hand tools. Great for backing in trailers to tight spots as well as hauling jetskis on the front.
First I want to think Ashley for all the professional service and product knowledge . The 65043 hitch rates a five star rating . The shipping was two days from Wentzville, Mo. to Smyrna Ga. and the Tracking service was just as great . Fee shipping ( Great ) .I would ask for one thing , on you instructions, maybe add a sheet with a larger, darker items . I will be glad to recommend my friends to etrailer .

I am 61 years old and put this on in my driveway with just a jack to push hitch into place. After a hour and a half it was on. Had to jiggle it a round abit to get all bolts to lineup. Install back bolts first its easier to put front bolts in then. Video was helpful Hitch is made to fit and it did. Using it for front rod rack for surf fishing on beaches on NC Coast. Very satisfied.
The product works great. Installed by myself on my back in 10 min. perfect fit. Got the hitch for my 12,000 lb winch. 2006 F150 with a 3 inch leveling kit.
Nive receiver,went on without a hitch.
Excellent product very well made. I installed on the highest setting for maximum ground clearance on a 2008 F150 2wd with a 2 1/2 level kit on the front.
I received the hitch yesterday. The box had been taped up but the hitch was just fine. I installed it this morning. I used the floor jack to hold it in place and crawled underneath while my wife handed me the parts. Took about 30 minutes to get all the stuff together in about 30 minutes to install it.
Easier than expected to mount im high clearance position. Holds my DR200 well, didn’t go for a drive, but it is very secure and well engineered mounting hardware. Very impressed so far...
Installation was as presented. Use hitch to move trailers, bike rack receiver, and winch mount.
Easy to install only complaint is the picture on the instructions are hard to see. Other than that real happy with it.
The hitch looks good. It arrived quickly and packed well. Everything I need was included. I would buy again.
I have a difficult spot to back my trailer into, next to the house and around a corner. With the front hitch, I can put it there on the first try and within an inch of the exact spot I shoot for. As an added bonus, I can take a small motorcycle along on the front of the truck while puling my camper. Perfect. PS--Wear safety glasses when working under an older vehicle or you will get rust and dirt in your eyes.

After a year of use, this thing is great. It is easier every time to park the trailer.
The tow bar is exactly what I ordered, BUT the packing was awful. There are 2 large holes with the ends of the hitch that attaches to the truck sticking out. The UPS driver suggested not accepting the package to my wife or letting me decide when I got home if we I should return the delivery tomorrow. Both ends has the paint scraped off but since that part bolts up under the truck I decided to keep it & just spray some paint on the bare metal. I have been very pleased over the years with your service & will remain a future customer.

Perfect fit for our 2007 F150. Allows for an incredibly easy experience when moving any trailer. Even my wife who previously never moved any type of trailer can can move around our 24 enclosed car hauler with ease. Thanks again for offering such a high-quality product!
Great hitch. Was easy to install with a little help. Perfect fit. Being a
front hitch, it will set lower than a rear hitch, so be careful if driving in
deep ruts. I use this at the beach for my surf rod holder.

Ansolutly what I needed, works great for putting my boat in and out of the water
After it sat on my garage floor for a year, I finally installed the front receiver hitch on my 2004 F150. Raised it up into position with a floor jack with no problem. However, I could NOT install the front spacer and bolt from the outside of the frame as the instructions and video indicate. The fog lamp assembly interfered and the bolt was too long to insert into the spacer. After much trial and error and viewing pix and the video, I ended up installing the spacer and inserting the front bolts from inside BETWEEN the frame rails and attaching the hex nuts on the OUTSIDE. The fit of the hitch otherwise was perfect. Looking at customer pix, all of the fog lamps are round or not there. I have rectangular fog lamps on my 2004. Unfortunately site would not allow upload of pix of the issue.
Staff was great on phone, had order in 2 days. Installation was a piece of cake took about a hour and a half to install by myself. Hitch mounted perfectly.

works great with winch,makes putting trailers in barn a snap.
Really fast shipping, looks like a great product and very happy with the price! The cardboard box was mangled when it got here with huge holes in it and I was happy to see that all the hardware was secured to the unit so none of it fell out. Got it mounted on my truck and mounted my winch on it, can't wait to try it out.

after a year, still going strong! my winch broke that I purchased from harbor freight and had to be replaced but the mount is still perfect. Really happy with it!

The product (front hitch for 2005 Ford F150) is obviously high-quality and fit perfectly on the truck. However, the box arrived torn and battered, with a gaping 8 inch hole that had been taped over. Surprisingly, the hitch itself was OK.
Also, while the written instructions are adequate, the online video needs improvement. It is so dark you cannot see one of the holes he is pointing out in the frame. Additionally, he says to put the hitch in place and “install the hardware.” He does not clearly show you what hardware is in his hand (appears to be just a bolt) nor does he mention that the frame rail hole is twice as big as the bolt and that you have to put a collar/spacer on the bolt and ensure that it engages both frame rails. The written instructions do give this information, but neither the video or instructions explain how to tell if it is properly in place.
I like etrailer and have had good service from them and have received high quality products. I will continue to use them in the future.

Fit perfectly! Took longer to install than expected because one handed install is not easy. So easy to move boats, camper, trailer in place, without any problems. A small camera above allows for a one person only job to hook up! Product looks like new after a year in mud, water, dirt...

It is great, as I am new to towing a camper, the front hitch is a great cheat for maneuvering it with more direct control. I am sure it would be a big help for launching boats fom a trailer too.
