Adding 7-Way Trailer Connector to 2015 Chevy Traverse with Factory 4-Way Connector
Question:
2015 traverse trailer plug. One to unhook the factory 4 pin and replace it with a 7 pin round socket. So I need the 7 pin to factory plug on the traverse.

To find which part fits to provide a 7-way trailer connetor on your 2015 Chevrolet Traverse you need to look and see how the 4-way that you currently have connects. Does it connect using the standard round car connector, like in the first picture I've attached, or is it a rounded rectangle connector, like in the second picture?
If it's a round connector then you can use part # C55774 which is a 7-way and 4-way connector. If your Traverse uses the other connector then use part # 118271 which also includes fuses and relays that are needed for the additional trailer functions. Both harnesses plug in to the Traverse's wiring so there's no splicing needed. I've linked some videos of them both being connected.
