Hello everybody. This is Jeff with etrailer.com. Today, we take a look at this rear view safety, rear view mirror that has a 4.3 inch display monitor. Now this mirror here will replace your existing vehicle mirror that's in your vehicle. It includes everything shown here on the table, the rear view mirror monitor, the power harness with the two camera inputs, a nice remote control and a nice set of instructions that'll describe how this operates and how it hooks up. Now, basically, when this is installed right here on the left side of the mirror, it'll display a nice 4.3 in size TFT LCD color display for showing what your rear view camera would show.
And it does offer adjustable grid lines on the monitor for a perfect backing up experience. Those grid lines are adjustable by using the included remote control. Now, the size on this, the overall length, is 10 and a quarter inches and the overall height in the very middle, the tallest point is three inches tall. - Replacement Camera for Use with Rear View Safety Display RVS-718I spoke with Rear View Safety and they said any of their 5 pin cameras will work. The # RVS-776 is a compatible camera that would work well. It has a very clear image so it would be a big improvement over what you have. It's possible yours maybe had some water in it or is fogged up.
