Recommended 7-Way Connector for 1999 Ford F-350 with Factory 4-Way

Hi Is it possible to just obtain and plug in the 7 pin harness from where the 4 pin rectangular plug harness plugged in. Is that all that is necessary?...

As long as your 1999 Ford F-350 with the factory 4-Way features a rectangular plug where this will plug into (and where your existing 4-Way is plugged into), then the Tow Ready OEM Tow Package Wiring 7-Way Harness # 118243 will fit and work perfectly. I have attached an image of what this plug should look like on your truck. There is a possibility that your model F-350 has a round OEM connector instead, so you will want to check to make sure.
This simple connection is all that is needed to upgrade the 4-Way on your truck to a 7-Way connector. You might also want to add the Mounting Bracket # PK12711U to secure the connector. I have attached an installation video on your truck that you can use for reference.
