The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56381 requires power directly from the battery. You will need to run that power wire away from hot or moving parts up to your vehicle battery. To do so, there are 3 common methods. I've attached an article to assist with the routing of that power wire with information to help with each one for you to determine the best fit for your vehicle.
