Can the Rhino-Rack 2 Bike Rack # RRRBC045 Hold a 2-1/4 Inch Diameter Bike Frame
Question:
I know that the rack will fit my 2016 Honda CR-V, but I need to know if the rack will accommodate the somewhat larger top tubes they taper from the front of the some of the newer road bikes, e.g. the Cannondale Synapse. The tube diameter at the front towards the handlebar is about 2 1/4 inches. Thank you.

The cradles on the Rhino-Rack 2 Bike Rack # RRRBC045 are wide and fairly flat so they will accommodate a 2-1/4 inch tube diameter.
Another option you might like better is the Curt # C18085. This rack holds the bikes at the wheels only so the frame design won't matter. And this rack weighs just 20 pounds so it is easy to handle and store. I have linked video reviews of both bike racks for you.
