Wheel Bearings and Seal for Travel Trailer with Dexter 4400 lb Axles

Question:

I have a 2013 Keystone Premier Travel trailer. It has dual Dexter 4400 lb axles. Only one tire, the front right is wearing bad on the inside. Suspension and axle look ok. I’m guessing and hoping it’s the wheel bearings? Any ideas and part numbers for a bearing/seal kit would be great. Sending pic of label on the axle.

Since you are only experiencing it on one side, it sounds like you may have bad bearings or maybe just a bad tire. Worst case, it could be a bent spindle. Normally alignment issues or axle issues would impact both sides of your trailer, so you'd have two tires with odd wear. If you have a slide out on that side, it may be loaded to heavy in that location which can cause that isolated increased tire wear.

The bearings you need for this axle are # LM67048 and # L68149. For a seal, you will need # RG06-050. If you want the replacement races # LM67010 and # L68111.
