Trailer Hitch Receiver to fit a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 75th Anniversary Ediiton

Question:

Thanks for getting back to me Charles. The two pictures below are of my Jeep. The first one shows the bumper from the rear. The second is from below the Jeep looking up at the cross brace where a trailer hitch would attach. There are already four bolts in the holes that the trailer hitch would attach and you can see their heads at the bottom of the picture. I can't see the space between the rear bumper and the cross brace as there's some filler material there. I'm not sure there's space enough to fit the hitch? Somebody must have put one on this type bumper already?

I'm fairly certain the 75th Anniversary edition of the 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited uses the same rear bumper as the Rubicon model. If I'm wrong about this let me know and send me a picture of your rear bumper if you can. This way I can make a correct recommendation.

If I'm correct then we have two hitch receivers that actually fit your Jeep even if our site says they only fit the "Standard Rear Bumper" Curt receivers # 13432 as well as the Draw-Tite # DT78MR all fit for you. I've confirmed the fit with the install details of each that I've linked for you. I've also linked install videos of each hitch on Wranglers. The bumper or model year isn't necessarily the same as yours but the install process is.

Of the two receivers I like the Draw-Tite because the safety chain loops are more hidden and I think it has a better look to it. However, the Curt receivers to stick out further from the bumper which can be nice if you're using it to carry accessories and they need to clear the rear spare tire.

If you're going to be towing with your Jeep you also need a wiring harness, part # 118416. It plugs in behind both tail lights. This install video is also attached. I've also linked our selection of ball mounts to fit the hitch and an article to help you determine the correct rise or drop you need.

That looks like a Rubicon bumper. Look at the install details of the Draw-Tite hitch I've linked on this page. There's a picture in the details that shows a Rubicon that has your same bumper. Also, if you read the install steps for the Mopar off road bumper it says to remove the factory bolts (Which you'll reuse) and that spacer you mentioned.
