Recommendation For Hitch For 1997 Mazda B2300 That Work With Spare Tire
Question:
1997 Mazda b2300. Worried about clearance for spare tire. 13019 or 13138?

Expert Reply:
Clearance for your spare tire on your 1997 Mazda B2300 may be an issue. Both Curt hitches Item # 13019 and Item # 13138 are designed to not interfere with a full size spare tire. Several customers have commented that Curt Hitch Item # 13138 fits with the spare without any challenges so I would go with this one.
I also recommend the Etrailer Ball Mount Kit, Item # 989900, that comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls (1-7/8 inch and 2 inch), 2 pin and clips, and a storage bag. I also recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, Item # 118325.
I have attached some videos and articles for you to check out.
