How to Create Additional Bedside Clearance While Using a Reese Goose Box Adapter

I need additional clearance with my goose box. There are no adjustments on the pin box bracket that can be made.

In order to gain additional height between the bedsides of your vehicle and nose of your trailer while using a Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter like part # RP85FR, I recommend using an above bed gooseneck hitch like the Reese Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # RP58079. This will be the only option you have to gain additional clearance assuming you have the Goose Box placed on the bottom mounting holes of the pin box brackets.

If you need for me to recommend the correct above bed base rails needed or the Reese gooseneck hitch, I would need to know the year, make, and model of the truck in order to do so.
