Lift Kit Needed for a Torflex Axle on a 2017 Lance 1575 Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2017 Lance 1575 trailer and want to lift the trailer the 2-7/8 inch Can you please specify the correct part? Is this as safe as changing the axle? The axle is TORFLEX HF=74.5 IP=59 SA=22.5 DT RC350 Can this axle be reversed to achieve 30 degrees down without any safety issue to achieve trailer clearance? Thank you,

I do not advise you flipping the Torflex axle as that is not how it was designed to be used. Instead what you need is a lift kit for your axle.
For single Torflex axle trailers we have 2 different lift kits, part # K71-723-01 for #9 Torflex axles and part # K71-707-01 for #10 Torflex axles. From what I could find on your 2017 Lance 1575 it looks like you have a #10 Torflex axle which means you need part # K71-707-01.
This kit will lift your trailer 2-5/8" which isn't exactly the 2-7/8" lift you are looking for, but it is within 1/4" so it will work perfectly fine for your application.
Review videos have been linked for you to reference as well.

Does this include step by step directions for me to do the lift myself? I have a 2017 Lance 1575. Also, is this the highest lift available?

The axexl for the 2017 1575, like I own, cannot be lifted by a kit according to Lance and does not show up as an option in their brocure. The 2019 Lance 1575 can use a lift kit and is listed as an option in the brocure. There is a solution called a 45 deg angel swap according to Lance. I believe this is entails installing a new axel. Lance quoted a cost of $838 for the part.
