Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2003 Dodge Durango
Question:
Can I use Reese 37069 in a durango 2003
asked by: Jose R
Expert Reply:
For your 2003 Dodge Durango, the Reese 37069 is not a fit. You will instead want the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75081 which is made by the same company and is a confirmed fit for your vehicle.
If you need trailer wiring, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One # 118334 if you don't have the factory tow package or # 118381 if you have the factory tow package. You will also want mounting bracket # 18144 and # C57202.
For a ball mount, I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, a 2 inch ball and a storage bag. You will also need a product like part # PC3, part # e98880, or part # 63232 to secure the accessory in your 2" trailer hitch receiver.
