Although towing a trailer behind a trailer, even a 5th wheel, is permissible to do in some states, you will need to check the laws of any states you are traveling through to make sure that the laws allow it. We don't recommend towing in this manner as it can lead to many different complications, but we do realize that it is done.
One of the most popular RV trailer hitches that we have is the Curt RV Bumper Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100. This is trailer hitch has a 2" hitch receiver that is rated for 3,500 lbs Gross Towing Weight (GTW) and 350 lbs Tongue Weight (TW).
This trailer hitch is a fit for 4" square channel bumpers like what it sounds like you have (see attached photo). It has a powder coated finish that will resist rust and corrosion, and it comes with all of the mounting hardware that is needed.
You will also need a ball mount, hitch ball, and pin and clip. I recommend using the Curt Class III Ball Mount # C45036 for your application but you will want to check our the attached helpful ball mount article to ensure it is correct for your setup.
