There is not a plug-in adapter available for the 2017 Ford Transit T250 that will allow for a plug and play trailer brake controller installation. A brake controller, such as the excellent Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195, will just need to be hardwired to the vehicle using the wires beneath the brake pedal.

If the vehicle did not come with the factory tow package or 7-Way connector, you will also need the Tekonsha Vehicle Wiring Harness # 22114. This will include everything needed to install a fully functional 7-Way along with the wiring needed for the brake controller. This will install by connecting to the built-in ports behind the vehicle's tail lights and then plugging directly to the brake controller.

I have attached the complete installation instructions that you can also take a look at.

We receive fit information directly from the manufacturers and based on installations we perform in-house.
