Question:
Is this the right ball and draw bar for 2012 toyota highlander? C45036

The correct ball mount and hitch ball to use with your 2012 Toyota Highlander is going to depend on a few measurements. The first thing you will want to do is park your Highlander and trailer on level ground. Then, measure from the ground to the top of the Highlander's receiver opening. After that, measure from the ground to the bottom of the coupler on your trailer. If your hitch height is 2" greater, the # C45036 drawbar would be correct (so long as you need a 2" hitch ball for your coupler).
Otherwise, if the hitch height is greater, use a ball mount with a drop; if the coupler height is greater, use a ball mount with a rise. You will want to select a ball mount that has a rise or drop measurement that is closest to the difference between the hitch and coupler heights.
