Adding an Additional 7-Way to a Silverado with a Camper in the Bed
Question:
Ive got a Silverado that has a truck bed camper that has a 7 pin connector on it. And I want to pull a trailer that also has a 7 pin connector, but the truck only had one 7 pin hookup. Is there a way to get two? The camper covers the trucks lights and needs to be plugged in for break lights/running lights to show.

The Hopkins # 41157 is a great option. Simply tee this into the US Car Connector directly behind your current 7-Way and bundle the wiring up and out of the way. This will give you a 2nd 7-Way on your Silverado, but keep in mind that if your camper is already pulling power from your 7-Way, adding a trailer could very well overload the wiring. This could either cause the lights to not functions properly or it could cause a fuse to keep blowing.
