Installation of Draw-Tite Hitch 76084 on 2016 Subaru Crosstrek
Question:
I am interested in buying a trailer hitch for my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. Looking at your Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch Item # 76084. I will not be installing this myself and do not know how to get it installed. Do you have installer contacts? Thank you for your help.

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 76084 is a Class III hitch that would be a great choice whether you are using it for towing or carrying an accessory. The Class III designation gives you lots of flexibility in that regard and it has a tongue weight capacity of 525 lbs and towing capacity of 3,500 lbs.
In terms of the installation, it bolts on and will not require the removal or trimming of fascia nor any other type of unique work. This is a job that any certified mechanic in your area should be able to accomplish; I recommend going with someone you may have had work done with in the past and are comfortable with or that has a quality local reputation.
