Will it fit 1999 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup stepside?

Expert Reply:
Curt hitch # C13021 will fit your 1999 Chevy S-10 stepside. If you are going to be towing you'd need 4-flat connector you would want to use T-One Wiring Harness # 118359. For a ball mount, I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball and a pin and clip. In order to choose the correct ball mount, you will need to take a couple quick measurements first.
With your S-10 parked on level ground, measure from the top of the receiver opening to the ground; your trailer should also be parked on level ground and you'll need to measure from the bottom of the coupler to the ground. If the height of your hitch is greater you'll need a ball mount with that amount of drop. Should the height of your coupler be greater, you will need a ball mount with that amount of rise. I've added a link to our page with each of our ball mounts, as well as a help article on ball mounts for you to take a look at.
