Can an Axle Over Under Kit be Made for 1-3/4 inch Trailer Axle
Question:
I have a small 4X6 trailer that I am using more regularly now for transporting my ATV about 5 hours every two weeks on the highway. The trailer came with 12inch tires and I feel I need something more safe for this amount of highway travel. To get bigger tires 14inch hopefully I thought it might be a good ideal to flip the axel. By my measurement, the axel appears to be 1 3/4inch in diameter, but I dont see that on your axel conversion kit. Do you have a kit that will work on this small of a trailer? Ive also thought about just removing the fenders to accommodate bigger tires as Im a little worried about it being top heavy if I raise the axel. Thoughts?

If you are okay with removing the fenders or going to a larger one that would probably be your simplest route and the way I would go if I were you. We don't have an axle over under kit for your axle size, but we could piece together one if you like.
All you would need for an over-under kit for a 1-3/4 inch round axle would be the U-bolt kit part # APUBR-10 and the spring seat part # TRSS175. You would need two of the spring seats.
Then for a 14-inch wheel and tire we have the part # AM3S414 which has a tire size of 205/75R14 on a wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch.
