Different Types of Light Bulbs Used in Trailer Lights

Question:

I have a 1996 Featherlite Horse Trailer. I need to replace bulbs in the running lights, and the cargo round lights in the horse area, but no bulbs to know what to get. Also, I want to run a power cord to the outside of the trailer to plug into to operate lights, fan, fridge and AC unit. What will I need to do that?

I do have options for you but there would be no way for me to know what type of light bulbs your trailer lights use. For trailer lights there are generally two types which are bayonet or push-in. Most taillights use a 1156 or 1157 bulb like part # 30-90-156 for single filament or part # 30-90-157 for dual filament. If your taillights have multiple functions for one bulb then you will need a dual filament light bulb.

Marker or clearance lights on the other hand could use a variety of different single filament light bulbs like 921 part # 30-90-021 or 194 part # A194B. If you could provide me with the part number of the light assembly which would be located on the base of the light and not the face of the lens then I could try to confirm the correct bulb style but if this is not available there would be no other options besides replacing the entire assembly.

Unfortunately, we do not have the required components to convert the items on your trailer to AC power.
