Can Trailer Back Up with Blue Ox Weight Distribution System
Question:
Looking at BLU45FR and was curious is this item allows back up. I see a lot of the other hitches say it clearly, but I am not seeing if this hitch is rated for back up or not?

You can back up your trailer with the Blue Ox Weight Distribution System # BLU45FR you referenced as long as you are baking up in a straight line. If you are needing to make any turns while backing up the trailer, you will just need to remove the spring bars on the system before doing so. This is true for most weight distribution systems.
When picking out a weight distribution system, the most important factor to consider is the total tongue weight of your setup. This includes both the loaded tongue weight of your trailer, along with any added cargo weight coming from behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. The Blue Ox System has a tongue weight range of up to 600 pounds. If your total tongue weight falls below this number, this system will work great for you. For a 2-5/16 inch ball use # 19286.
I have attached the installation details and a short video demonstration on this system that you can also check out.
