Should I Lube the Components of a Weight Distribution System
Question:
Should my WD system be lubed?

Weight distribution manufacturers do recommend the use grease to lube several parts of their system. The user manual for the weight distribution system should cover which components need to be greased. Most advise to lube where the spring or trunnion bars connect to the weight distribution head. The Blue Ox Weight Distribution System, # BLU45FR, that you referenced has grease zerks installed on the spring bars for periodic maintenance.
The recommendation is to use a heavy oil or grease on these components. I recommend the LubriMatic Biobased White Lithium Grease, # L11354. This thick lithium grease holds up better then standard petroleum greases under higher heats. This grease will hold it thick consistency which will help in lubrication of the weight distributions moving parts.
