Recommended WD w sway control for 17 Ford Escape towing a 2012 MPG 185 travel trailer
Question:
My vehicle is rated to tow 3,500 and my trailer dry is weighing in at 3,200 with a tongue weight of 350. Figure with gear loaded Ill be at capacity, if not over so thinking a weight distribution with sway control will be important. What is the most economical system youd recommend? Thank you.

Since you anticipate being at your towing capacity of 3,500 lbs a weight distribution system is your best option to allow you tow safely. So the most economical option we have that also will get the job done well is the Blue Ox kit part # BLU45FR which has a tongue weight range of up to 600 lbs.
This weight distribution hitch comes with a 2" ball but if you ever need a replacement you can use the # A-90.
