It sounds like you might be looking for a new adjustable ball mount to tow your trailer level. The best method for determining the type of drop you need with your new vehicle will be take a couple of measurements on your vehicle and trailer.
Starting with your vehicle on level ground, you will want to take a measurement from the ground to the top of the hitch receiver. Then with your trailer on level ground, measure from the ground to the bottom of the coupler. If the hitch height on your vehicle is greater, you will use a ball mount with a drop. You will want a ball mount that features a drop that is closest to the difference between the hitch and coupler measurements you took.
We have a large selection of adjustable ball mounts available with differing rise and drop dimensions. For example, the Curt Adjustable Ball Mount # C45900 has a drop of up to 6 inches. This ball mount does have 9 adjustable pin holes, but you will want to look at the drop it provides to ensure you choose the correct ball mount for your trailer.
I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection of adjustable ball mounts, along with an article on the subject that you might also find helpful.
