Dimensions of the Curt Welded Weight Distribution Shank # C17123
Question:
I have the Ultra Fab WDH 35-946226 1000# round. I purchased a 2011 Yukon Denali. My receiver is to high for the original shank. After measuring, I need a WDH shank that has an 8 - 8 1/2inch . Will the Curt C17123 work with the Ultra Fab ? and be a true 8 1/4inch ?

Since manufacturers do not test their products together I don't necessarily know if they are compatible (although most shanks are universal), but I can give you the information that you need to do some measuring on your end.
The Curt Welded Weight Distribution Shank # C17123 has holes that are spaced 1-1/4" apart on center and the shank itself is 2" x 2" both on the end that inserts into your hitch receiver on your 2011 GMC Yukon Denali and on the end that connects to the WD system. From the top adjustment hole to the bottom adjustment hole it measures 11-1/4". This WD shank is also rated for 1,500 lbs of Tongue Weight (TW) and 15,000 lbs of Gross Towing Weight (GTW).
If your current setup fits these specs and weight limits then you can most certainly use this WD shank to tow your trailer!
