Adding Lift to Travel Trailer to Prevent Rear From Hitting Driveway

Question:

Hi, my travel trailer and steep driveway do not get along at all - every time I get the trailer in/out of the backyard I have to use ramps to prevent the rear end of the trailer from hitting the driveway. Is it possible to use airbags to raise the trailer ~ 5 inches during the in/out of the backyard maneuvering. if yes, will you pls recommend me a model of airbag? My travel trailer is 7600 pounds fully loaded. Thank you

Airbags are for use with tow vehicles and would not be compatible with a trailer. You may be able to move your leaf springs above your axle if you have double-eye springs. If so, the kit for 2-3/8" axles is # K71-384-00 while the kit for 3" axles is # K71-385-00. The amount of lift you get will be the diameter of the axle plus the thickness of the leaf springs.

I have added a link to video reviews of both kits for you to take a look at.
