Question:

This picture looks like the torsion axle my trailer I just got has. Is there kit to raise these 3-4 inches?

The lift kits we carry fit with specific axles; the # K71-725-02 is a tandem axle application and will give a 3-1/8" lift and is compatible with side-mounted #12 Torflex axles with 5,500-7,000-lb capacities. If that is what your axle is, this kit would work for you.

There are a number of other lift kits for Torflex axles which I'll list for you.

Tandem Axle - 2-7/8" Lift compatible with side-mounted #11 Torflex axles with 4,100-6,000-lb capacities # K71-724-02

Tandem Axle - 2-5/8" Lift compatible with #10 Torflex axles with 2,300 to 4,000-lb capacities # K71-707-02

Single Axle - 2-5/8" Lift compatible with #10 Torflex axles with 2,300 to 4,000-lb capacities # K71-707-01

Single Axle - 2-5/8" Lift compatible with #9 Torflex axles with a 2,000-lb capacity # K71-723-01

I want to lift my 2019 airstream, 23 feet long, tandem axles. The part number for the axles are 410980-16, and I believe they are the 3500 lb never lube axles. Which lift kit would you recommend for the highest lift possible?

According to my research your 2019 Airstream should be equipped with #10 Torflex axles which means the correct lift kit for you is part # K71-707-02 which provides a 2-5/8" lift. This will be the only thing that fits as Dexter Axle doesn't make any other kind of lift kit compatible with the Torsion axles. Please note that this isn't compatible with 3" high profile brackets.

I'm not sure what kit I need because of the way it's worded. When you list the axle capacities for a tandem axle set up are you listing the COMBINED capacity as it states on my trailer (7000 lb. = 2x 3500 lb. axles) or EACH axle? My axle tags say Dexter P-12 Model SLR.

The capacities listed are for the individual axle ratings. You would need 3,500 pound lift kit assemblies. I can't tell for certain if the above kits would work just based on the P-12 stamp you found, as this just refers to the plant number the axle was made in.

Item # K71-725-02 webpage has the following note,Note: Lift kit cannot be used with 3 tall brackets. What does this refer to and where do I measure?

On some trailers there is already a 3 inch bracket below the frame that attaches to the axle. It is simply a taller mounting bracket on some axles. If you measure from the square axle tube to the trailer frame and it is already 3 inches between them then the manufacturer says not to use the lift kit # K71-725-02 because it is a stability issue. The leverage and torque if you were to use them in combination can create a few problems so they add that note to keep people safe.

having trouble determining what dexter axles I have on a used 26 Lance model 2155 tandem axle. I wish to lift it with 3 1/8 Code: K71-725-02. I have pics of the dexter lables. all dexter numbers such #66242699 & 625888-2 & HF=86.00.0B=68.60 22DT hope this helps.

Unfortunately the numbers don't help, but based on your model, I am fairly confident you have the #10 Dexter Torflex axles. The best way to confirm is to measure where your axles bolt to the frame. If the bolts are 8 inches on center than the Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle - 2-5/8" Lift # K71-707-02 is the correct fit. Unfortunately we don't have customized lift dimensions so this is the best option.
