For your 2005 Safari Trek motorhome, I recommend the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 18"-51" Wide - 2" Drop - Class III - 2" # C13701 which can be welded or bolted to the frame of your motorhome. This has a 5,000 lb capacity without weight distribution or 6,000 lbs with weight distribution...which would be required in your case.
Based on the trailer and vehicle weights you gave, I recommend the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control - Trunnion Bar - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW # RP66084. This system will use dual cams and hot rolled spring bars to keep your trailer straight behind your motorhome. You will need a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball with a 1-1/4 inch diameter shank like # 19286 for this system. This will allow you to use your motorhome to pull your trailer and will also help to actively fight trailer sway.
I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver & Coupler Lockset - 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # e99039 to secure your system and trailer.
