Can Gen-Y Weight Distribution Shank 325-GH-1202 Be Used with 7600-lb Travel Trailer

Will this hitch work on a travel trailer with a tongue weight of 687 lbs and a GVRW of 7600 LBS or is there another on e that handles smaller weights ?

The Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # 325-GH-1202 has plenty of capacity for your 7600-lb travel trailer. This shank is compatible with any brand of weight distribution head assembly and will give you a less jerky ride thanks to its rubber torsion cords. We do not offer a similar one that is rated for lower weight.

My contact at Gen-Y confirmed that this shank will work well for your travel trailer's weight. If your empty/dry tongue weight is 687-lbs then by the time you load the trailer and fill water and propane tanks you'll be in the ideal range, but even if you are a bit light in terms of tongue weight you'll still get the benefits of the rubber cords smoothing the ride. At this time there is not a comparable item with a lower rating.
