What is the Weight Capacity of Yakima Crossbars on Pop-Up Camper
Question:
I am wondering if this is advisable due to weight? There will be a few bags in the box, and the box will be attached to Yakima rails. The rails are already attach to the roof of the pop-up from old backpack system. Help asap! Im leaving in an hour and my wife says that it may be too much weight!

Normally a Yakima we would be able to tell you what the roof rack weight capacity is, but since your roof rack (the RailRider 1) was discontinued in the mid 80's my contact at Yakima said that it would be best to go by the roof weight capacity of your pop-up camper.
If you ever need to replace the foot pack my contact said you can use 2 sets of the Landing Pad 1 for Yakima Control Towers # Y00221, the Yakima SkyLine Towers # Y53TR, the RoundBar SL Adapter # Y03536, and then to add locks for security you can use part # Y07204.
