Recommended Trailer Wiring Connector For 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
I have a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 it has NO tow bar installed just a place in the bumper to install the ball I can see the electrical connectors under the bumper to plug into but am having trouble finding the correct wiring harness. It can end in a 5 or 7 pin as I have an adaptor. I want to install this asap so I need to confirm I have the correct harness.

For your 2005 Chevy Silverado, I recommend the Replacement Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors # 30955. This will give you a 7-way as well as a 4-way trailer connection. It is easy to install and has a bracket included to mount the connector to. It is a confirmed fit for your truck. I've attached a video to assist.
