Recommended 5th-Wheel Base Rails for 2001 Ford F-350 with 6-3/4 Foot Bed

Question:

I have a 2001 f350 powerstroke crew cab short bed. I am looking to get bolt on fifth wheel rails. Which product do I need? Im looking for a kit that doesnt require drilling if possible. I already have a Andersen ultimate connection hitch if that makes any difference. Thanks

For your 2001 Ford F-350 with a 6-3/4 foot bed, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP50082-58. These are custom-fit rails that are designed specifically for your truck. No frame drilling will be required to install the brackets. This is because the vehicle-specific brackets will mount to existing holes that are in the truck's frame.

I have attached the installation details for you to look through so you can get a better idea of the process.

Your Andersen Connection Hitch is compatible with industry-standard, above-bed rails so there will not be any compatibility issues.
