Trailer Hitch Fit For 2006 Toyota Camry
Question:
Can hitch # 24563 be installed on a 2006 Camry? I think that the hitch frame below the exhaust on model # 36336 will scrape on our driveway. thanks

While your concerns about clearance are understandable, the Draw-Tite 24563 is not a fit for your 2006 Toyota Camry; the two hitches which fit your Camry are the Draw-Tite # 36336, which you mentioned, and the Curt # C12339.
Both of these are going to be installed with a part that goes under the exhaust, which is the part that you are likely worried about scraping your driveway. I went to the warehouse to measure the Curt, and it was two inches from the bottom of the receiver to the bottom of the bar underneath the exhaust.
According to the install video of this hitch on a 2005 Camry, we know that there is 10-1/4 inches from the ground to the bottom of the receiver opening. Subtract two more inches to reach the lowest point on the Curt hitch, and you have just over eight inches of clearance space. These measurements would be roughly the same for the Draw-Tite.
